Impress Your Guests! Holiday Entertaining at its Best!
Winter is known for bringing most of us inside and out of the cold, and one way to keep this exciting is to get creative involving all your senses. Here are some ideas to get your imagination working with your sense of taste, smell and sight.

TASTE
Cooking with essential oils is a delicate endeavour because there are only certain ones that are safe to ingest. It is very important to consult an aromatherapist before taking any risks. Here is a safe recipe using Peppermint and Cinnamon essential oils. Candy Cane Granola Bars: 1cup of Roasted Pumpkin seeds, ¼ cup of tahini, ½ cup of large flake oats, 1/4 cup of raw honey,1 tsp of vanilla,1 drop of the Aromatherapist brand cinnamon, and 1 drop of the Aromatherapist brand peppermint. Melt the honey and tahini over medium heat, remove from the heat and add vanilla and essential oils. Then add all the dry ingredients, smooth over a cookie sheet and put in the fridge for an hour.

SMELL
Dazzle your guests when they walk into your home with an air freshener that has a warm winter feel. Everyone will want your secret! Frosty Pine Air Freshener: 2 cups of Rose floral water (can also use distilled water), 40 drops of Aura Cacia Frosty Pine blend, a spray bottle. Add all the ingredients together in the spray bottle. Shake before using. You can spray this holiday smell on any decorations, curtains, artificial tree, or just around the house.

SIGHT
A quick decorating idea! In a glass container, put some raw cranberries in water with some beeswax tea lights. Once the flame has melted the wax a bit add the Aura Cacia Frosty Pine blend or your favourite scent to the melted wax. You only need 2 or 3 drops, and the scent will go a long way.
