Bathe Your Troubles Away…
Emily Jacks, Esthetician
Enjoying a wonderful bath with therapeutic oils will calm nerves, energize spirits and keep
you sane during the busy holiday season. Homemade bath salts are easy and inexpensive
to make and are a wonderful gift for your loved ones. |
Remember that the quality of your ingredients is important! By using dead sea salts (which are high in trace minerals) or epsom salts (which are high in magnesium) you can achieve a nourishing, detoxifying effect. Always choose high quality, pure essential oil,
or oil blend,
to ensure that you are getting the purest, most beneficial oils.
What scent should you use? When it comes to choosing essential oils, lavender and
geranium make a great combo for their relaxation properties; lemon is stimulating and
invigorating; and peppermint is great for mental fatigue. To make it even easier, you
could pick up one of our popular pre-made oil blends such as Chill Pill, Pillow Potion, Pep
Talk or Love Potion.
Here are some wonderful, easy recipes to enjoy yourself or give as a gift this Christmas.
