So many people today are suffering from fatigue, lack of energy, low self-esteem, and many degenerative diseases. In short, they feel bad most of the time. Does this sound familiar? Why eat sprouts? For many reasons-they are:
Healthy, economical and convenient
Packed with nutrition
Fresh, vital and alive all year round
Inexpensive, fresh vegetables
Easy to grow at home by anybody.
Sprouts are a living food. When seeds sprout, a tremendous amount of life force is released and a powerhouse of nutrients becomes available to you. In the process, seeds attain a higher level of vitamins, and complex carbohydrates and proteins are converted into easily digestible forms. Sprouts contain enzymes-lots of them-which are the life element in our food and the sparkplugs to creating energy in every single cell of the body. Learning to take advantage of the incomparable nutritional power and living energy of sprouts will set you on a course for lifelong health.
Sprouts cure the winter “blahs”. During winter, really fresh, nutritionally sound vegetables are often difficult to find in the supermarket. Often vegetables are shipped a long distance and devoid of nutritional value by the time you get them. Ta-da! Sprouts fill this gap. You can easily and inexpensively grow sprouts in any location.
Today sprouts are found everywhere and recognized as an important nutrient rich food to boost your immune system and protect against conditions such as aging, cancer, heart disease and obesity. What used to be called “rabbit food” is now becoming a commonplace staple in the kitchen and part of a healthful diet.
