Real Food, Real Results … Energize Your Life!
Fatigue is on the rise!
Are you tired? Many people lack energy – at a younger and younger age, and for a longer and longer time. Do you try to energize with coffee, colas, and high-fat fast food? Don’t! Their temporary boost will create more fatigue by the end of the day.
Choose real food for real results
Those empty calories have to go. Your body needs real energy that comes from nourishment (the other reason we eat!), so that all those amazing biochemical reactions that we take for granted can happen efficiently. Fuel your life with real food!

Nutrient-dense Complex Carbohydrate
The excessive sugars, refined carbohydrates, soft drinks, juices and sweets give you a temporary energy rise because they raise your cortisol, so they make you feel energized – for a short while. But within 45-90 minutes, you experience a drop in energy, and you feel worse than before. This cycle is repeated throughout the day.

Lean, clean, proteins
It is important, for energy to be properly maintained, to consume regular amounts of quality protein. Aim to consume at least 20 grams of protein at each meal, including breakfast, to keep your energy steady. Try ¼ cup of pumpkin seeds, an omelette with vegetables, or a protein smoothie made with berries, soy milk, beneficial oils and a scoop of high-quality whey or hemp protein for a breakfast that lasts. With your breads, crackers or grains, include hummus, almond butter, nuts or other proteins.

Essential Fats
You will be amazed at how energizing it can be to optimize your beneficial fats. Eliminate the trans fats, and the refined and processed fats, and focus instead on the healing, restoring, life-giving fats: Udo’s oil, flax or hemp oil, fish or fish oil, plus coconut oil, unrefined sesame, extra virgin olive oil, and – yes – butter. (Butter isn’t a healing fat, but it’s not harmful either. Butter is truly better.) Make salad dressings with them (ask us for a recipe), enjoy raw nuts and seeds, and add them to your smoothies.

Water
Drink it – and benefit. Be sure it’s pure. Water energizes. Add trace mineral drops or fresh organic lemon juice for even more benefit.

Vegetables and Fruits
You need them – 7 to 9 servings a day! Eat 3 vegetables for every fruit, and focus on the leafy greens and dark coloured ones.
